August 5 2011 5:59pmAfter a few weeks of being away with my day job I have finally had the chance to put up the new work. Changing my focus from broad military memorabilia to a more personal or occupational product, the first two batches of work have been received well and developed further interest. So seeeing as the Afghanistan series has been exhausted for now, for the mean time I intend to concentrate on the personal products, as you may have seen they make for an ideal gift for relatives and or friends.June 30 2011 8:32pmAfter a busy few months with my day job interstate, I have entered a flurry of mediocre designs for the footlocker competition. Fun none-the-less, it was a good chance to mix it up a little with different designs and what not, but an even better opportunity to observe the better artists out there. I have a long way to go and desperately require formal education as I feel that I need to know how to really abuse the technology I have at my fingertips to give my imagination the canvas it deserves...April 19 2011 7:28pmWell... the site has launched and is getting some good feedback, however I'ld like to literally see what everyone thinks; both good and bad, so I've added a comments box to the right so I can gauge reactions. As any artist should, I encourage criticism.ABN registration acheived was today, now for the last and more expensive hurdle of trademarking... wish me luck, there are giants in way. Like the giants that own the 'staple' arenas in the USA; conglomerates trying to flex their muscles on the shores of Australia, I dont think I should be worried, more of a problem for Big W, Kmart and the likes. Still... wish me luck, here goes nothin.... April 16 2011 7:17pmTedious but totally worth it. After wiriting a couple of lines maybe even paragraphs of words, I will have finally finished this page. Probably the easiest out of all the pages so far though. I did want a black themed page for something different and I haven't yet designed one worthy of uploading yet so here's a smokey one till then. Home pages and galleries took one night each so this one should be a hell of a lot quicker.Cheers to wix.com for providing the means for the design of this site. If any of you are thinking of starting your own site then I strongly recommend starting up with these guys, great range of design choices with endless possibilities of customisation.Hopefully this site will be up within the next few days, closely followed by Trademark and ABN registration.As for up and coming projects, I am still in the process of producing another 4 Afghanistan series I tryptics along with some other smaller jobs, closely followed by Crossfit's wall design being painted in the next few weeks. Not to forget the AUSTECC projects which include business card, advertisement, stubby cooler and poster designs.Also have the Cleaning with care logo and Mitchelton Panthers Barbell Club logo and promotional videos to follow.Shaping up to be a very busy few months!
